Fireworks

Pursuant to Indiana Code 22-11-14-6,et seq., it is a violation for a person under 18 years old to possess or use fireworks without an adult present. It is a Class A misdemeanor to use fireworks other than on your own property or on property on which you have permission from the owner.  You cannot light fireworks after 11 pm or before 9 am except on the following holidays: December 31, New Year's Day, January 1; Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Birthday; Abraham Lincoln's Birthday; George Washington's Birthday; Good Friday; Memorial Day; Independence Day, July 4; Labor Day; Columbus Day; Election Day; Veterans Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; Sunday, the first day of the week.  On holidays you may light fireworks until midnight.
